The Princess of God
By Cherylynn Moore

I am a princess
I am Gods Rose of Sharon
A lily of His valley

He has me dance before Him
I delight in His joy
And He delights in mine

He supplies all my needs and
Gives me the desire of my heart
He is the lifter of my head

As I dance before His thrown of Gold
I see the King of Kings
Look at me
Our eyes meet and we become one in Spirit

So intertwined are we
That nothing else matters
I am truly His princess and
He my prince

This is more than I could ever imagine
He arises from His thrown
And as the Angels sing we dance

We float into the garden
Where He walks and talks with me
Among the roses He named after me

I am truly His princess
I am the Rose of Sharon
He is my prince
He is my King of Kings

A taste of Italy

just a quick note to say that after our weekend at the renewal center and my wife winning the God bucks prize i had no idea what a wonderful prize she had won. We had a very romantic Italian dinner at the Moore's home. they went all out to make it seem as though we were in an Italian restaurant in Italy. We were served dinner and my wife and i even danced to the music that was playing. it will be a memory to last a long time. Thank you Harold and Cheryl for the nice prize my wife won.
P.S. thank you Phil for the inspiration that began with you.

Lectio Divina Latin for "Devine Reading"

Cathy & Keith Seckel came to our encounter at CRC and talked to us about Lectio Divina which is a slow, contemplative praying of the Scriptures. It is a three part series of reading one scripture and letting God talk to you through it. The first reading is for the purpose of hearing a word or passage that touches your heart, answering the question of "what jumped out at me?" The second reading is for the purpose of "hearing" or "seeing" Christ in the text, answering the question " Where is Christ in this text?" The third and final reading is for the purpose of experiencing Christ "calling us forth into doing or being, answering the question "What is Christ calling me to, or asking of me?"
One of the scriptures we went over is:
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, and being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
One of the pictures that Keith got is that the Sun is the light and the Moon reflects that light just as Moses reflected the light of God after being on the mountain with Him. When the world gets between the Sun and Moon the Moon can not reflect the light that the Sun puts off, like us when the things of the world gets between God and us we become dim and can not reflect the light of God the way in which God intended.
This is just one example of the things God revealed to us going through the scriptures this way. The community in our home group is wonderful and just learning of ways in which to work together to understand God's word and love for us is awesome.

GOD BUCKS

this past weekend was my first visit at the christian renewal center. i have to say i saw amazing things happen there. god showed up and ministered to my heart in a deep way. the god bucks exercise we played really taught me that i need to pay more attention to how i speak and not let my brain think before my heart. i still to this day watch out for reasons to collect and keep god bucks.

Encounter With God at CRC

We just had our first home group encounter this last weekend and it was wonderful. It was awesome to see how God shows up when you give Him a chance. We were all touched and changed for the better. This is just the beginning of what God is going to do in this home group.
